The Omnichannel Data Insights Manager plays a crucial role in driving data analytics and customer research initiatives that lead to transformative insights into customer behavior and omnichannel performance. This position collaborates with various departments to foster data-driven decision-making across omnichannel, marketing, ecommerce, store operations, and digital merchandising. The manager will be responsible for shaping the reporting and analytics strategy, nurturing team development, implementing best practices, and delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead, develop, and oversee the Data Analytics and Customer Research teams, focusing on staffing, performance management, coaching, and professional growth.
- Define and manage processes for the collection, validation, and integration of marketing, operational, and customer data across all digital platforms.
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations pertaining to customer journeys, fulfillment performance, and overall retail and ecommerce experiences.
- Establish analytics governance, reporting standards, and best practices to ensure the accuracy and consistency of insights and deliverables.
- Collaborate with Store Operations, Distribution Centers, Merchandising, Pricing, Marketing, and Data Science teams to create comprehensive views of omnichannel performance.
- Support product, platform, and experience roadmaps by defining success metrics and analyzing customer behavior.
- Manage relationships with analytics, research, and technology vendors, ensuring project delivery is on time and within budget.
- Analyze retail and digital marketing campaigns for effectiveness, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement in metrics such as traffic, conversion, retention, and revenue.
- Identify customer, market, and operational trends through advanced analytics and customer research to inform strategic planning and growth.
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards to monitor performance metrics related to retail, ecommerce, and customer experience.
- Lead market research initiatives to detect customer needs, industry trends, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Manage special projects and analytical initiatives as directed by senior leadership.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience with analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Domo, SQL, APT, SimilarWeb, Google Ads, etc.
- Strong skills in data extraction, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with a track record of translating data into insights.
- Inquisitive mindset, always seeking innovative methods to achieve results.
- Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with effective project management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

DESIRED
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, analytics, research, or business or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or site optimization.
