Job description

Waltonen Engineering is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Engineering analysis/support of military vehicles Prepare plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications Design and execute engineering to create workable solutions Develop engineering calculations, diagrams and technical reports Complete required technical and regulatory documents Ensure projects are completed on time Present analysis results and project solutions to technical leads, senior leaders and clients as necessary Qualifications Experience in vehicle component and/or systems experience preferred Specific experience in subsystems engineering Experience with NX or Creo preferred but not mandatory Previous experience with defense/military vehicles preferred but not mandatory Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree At least 3 – 5 years related work experience Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations Advanced skills in critical software applications, such as Microsoft Office and CAD Expertise in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking Only United States Citizens can be considered Must possess or be able to obtain security clearance All employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.
