EDaaS is a fast-paced team driving the modernization of Cisco IT & Engineering workflows with modern, cloud-native solutions and automation.

The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about enabling developers with cutting-edge tooling. You will play a critical role in administering and optimizing both traditional DevOps platforms and next-generation AI Code Assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf), ensuring secure, scalable, and effective adoption across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop object-oriented Python code to process large data sets via REST APIs.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using configuration management tools.
  • Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Administer, configure, and optimize AI Code Assistant platforms to maximize developer productivity while enforcing enterprise security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI-assisted development into workflows and provide ongoing operational support.
  • Contribute to automation frameworks, CI / CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to improve efficiency across the enterprise.
  • Required Skills and Experience

  • 6–8+ years of Linux / Unix administration (with emphasis on RedHat).
  • 6–8+ years of scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience administering AI Code Assistant tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Windsurf, including configuration, policy enforcement, and usage monitoring.
  • Experience administering and supporting one or more categories of DevOps tools :
  • Source code management (GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket, GitLab)
  • Build automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Artifact management (Artifactory, GitLFS, Maven)
  • Strong experience working with REST APIs.
  • Experience with configuration management platforms (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt).
  • Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals (OSI layers, DNS, etc.).
  • Proven troubleshooting skills in diverse technical environments.
  • Well-versed with Git and workflows (forking, gitflow, etc.).
  • General knowledge of reverse proxy systems (Nginx, HAProxy, Apache).
  • Desired Skills and Experience

  • Enterprise-level administration and monitoring of GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Experience applying security best practices to Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring technologies (Nagios, AppDynamics, etc.).
  • Production experience with Docker containers and image management.
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, etc.).
