Job Description & Requirements

Position Details
Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00 PST)
Start Date : 02 / 17 / 2025
Contract Length : 13 weeks (possible extension)
Requirements
Licensure : RN, LVN, or IMG / FMG
Experience :
3-5 years in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI)
Proficiency in tools like Power Chart (Cerner), 3M 360, and Midas
Strong knowledge of APR and MS DRG methodology, HCC, and risk adjustment methodologies (Vizient, Elixhauser)
Experience in DRG downgrades, denials, and appeals
Clinical documentation / coding knowledge in Trauma, NICU, and Obstetrics is strongly preferred
Certifications : CCDS, CCS, or CDIP preferred but not mandatory with CDI experience
