Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus to join a growing engineering organization supporting multiple teams and modernization initiatives. This role will work across new feature development, platform modernization, integrations, and ongoing system maintenance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the stack but brings deeper strength in React and JavaScript, with hands‑on experience in and cloud‑native architectures.

Responsibilities:
Design, build, and enhance frontend and backend features using React, JavaScript, and
Develop and maintain serverless applications in a cloud environment (primarily AWS, with Azure or GCP experience acceptable)
Support one of the following teams:
Integrations Team:
Transition legacy APIs to serverless architectures
Implement new system integrations
Small Enhancements Team:
Deliver new frontend and backend features
Enhance existing application
STM Team:
Perform maintenance, bug fixes, and security updates
Contribute to platform modernization initiatives, including:
Replacing Angular with React
Removing GraphQL from the platform
Addressing technical debt and improving system scalability
Collaborate with engineers, product, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions
Participate in code reviews and help raise engineering best practices across the team
Take initiative in identifying performance bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement, including load testing

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with JavaScript and
4+ years of React experience (frontend‑heavy candidates strongly preferred)
Experience working with MySQL or similar relational databases
Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native / serverless architectures, preferably AWS (Azure or GCP experience is also acceptable)
Familiarity with modern version control workflows using GitHub

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with GitHub Actions (team recently migrated to GitHub)
Working knowledge of Docker (limited experience currently on the team)
Exposure to or interest in JMeter and performance/load testing

Opportunity to introduce and implement JMeter practices across the team


Experience contributing to large‑scale platform modernization efforts
Comfort working across legacy systems and modern frameworks simultaneously
