We have an exciting opportunity for a PCMS Tile Installer position in Newport News Virginia! Qualifications :
Must have at a minimum Level 1 PCMS Tile Certification
Must have 6 months of verifiable experience with PCMS installation and removal. Must be local Must have at least 1 year of shipboard experience.
Must have no criminal record.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and job specifications.
Strong understanding of adhesives, fasteners, and insulation installation techniques.
Familiarity with tools used in tile work such as utility knives, straight edges, tape measures, drills, and adhesives.
Comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, scaffolding, and in variable shipboard environments. Job Duties entail but are not limited to : Prepares surfaces for the application of PCMS tile.
Knowledge of the processes and procedures necessary for the proper removal of old materials with minimal damage to surrounding materials.
Uses prescribed tools for shaping and fitting sheet and tile type materials using required glues and adhesives. Schedule : 6am-1 : 30pm Monday-Sunday
Must be flexible to work OT and weekends as needed Pay : $28-30 / hour based on experience #ISS
