Cleveland Research Company, LLC, an equity research firm and Broker Dealer registered in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a qualified Staff Accountant to oversee some of our accounting processes and operations. This person is a key resource for the firm and will assist the Controller with the firm's accounting activities including Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, preparation of financial statements and monthly financial reports. A successful candidate will possess a high level of initiative, professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include :

• Assist in Market Research accounting functions
• Assist with processing accounts receivable activity in accounting software, including preparing sales orders, invoices, applying cash receipts, filing bank transaction reports with attached invoices, reconciling A / R accounts to sub-ledger
• Become familiar with clients and payment trends
• Work with clients on their requests for information from us
• Assist with data management between CRM and Accounting Software
• Analyze and follow up on Aged receivables
• Processing journal entries into accounting software, preparation of financial reports related Market Research activity
• Account analysis, projections, estimates and general operations
• Identify areas for growth

Position Requirements :

This is an on-site position. Applicants must be local to Cleveland or be willing to relocate.
