Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Health staff provides consultative and technical support, training and direction for regulatory compliance and effective program development to university faculty, staff, students and visitors. The Fire and Life Safety team responds to fire / EMS related calls, conducts building / housing inspections, conducts plan reviews for renovations and new construction, performs testing procedures per NFPA / University guidelines for building acceptance, identifies fire / life safety issues and corrective measures, provides consultation and conduct public education.
