Major Accountabilities
1) Manage the evaluation, selection, implementation, maintenance and operation of all HR technology needs by translating HR's strategy into a technology roadmap and executing effectively against that road map.
2) Prioritize overall HR short-term and long-term technology needs and works closely with the Information Technology (IT) department to design and implement HR technology solutions that allow HR and its customers to perform HR activities more efficiently and accurately.
3) Partner with HR leaders and the HR Centers of Expertise in understanding and delivering on technology, analytics, reporting needs and recommended HR services.
4) Evaluate current and emerging trends in automated technologies and the capabilities of new products for applicable business functions and how they may impact existing systems and services provided.
5) Oversee the day-to-day management and relations with outside vendors and third-party service providers.
6) Participate in or lead system related projects of significant size, scope and strategic implications.
7) Collaborates with stakeholders to provide essential project management activities for small- and large-scale projects including feasibility, time frames, cost, requirements definition, staffing requirements, design, testing, training, implementation and maintenance.
8) Prepare, recommend and oversee development of department operating budgets and monitor spending for adherence. Plans, develops and recommends plans to address variances.
9) Develops departmental plans, including business, production, operational and / or organizational priorities and controls resources and policy formation in area of responsibility.
