Join our Basepoint Building Automations team as an HVAC Programmer working in a 100% Employee-Owned company. In this role you’ll transform project requirements into cutting-edge code and help troubleshoot, modify, and maintain the next generation of HVAC systems. Your technical expertise will make a tangible impact on building efficiency and system performance. What You’ll Do :
- Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project scope, timelines and technical requirements.
- Program and commission Direct Digital Control (DDC) controllers to ensure HVAC systems run efficiently.
- Write, test, and debug code for HVAC and building automation systems to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
- Document development processes, code, algorithms, APIs, and system components for future reference
- Integrate software components and third-party devices into larger building systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to improve system efficiency.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, using software and engineering specifications.
