Key Responsibilities Assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG, APR-DRG, POA, and discharge status codes based on medical record review Evaluate physician documentation and initiate queries when clarification is needed Meet or exceed productivity and quality benchmarks Required Qualifications Associate degree in Health Information Management or equivalent (preferred) 3+ years of facility inpatient (DRG) coding experience Active credential : RHIA, RHIT, or CCS (AHIMA)
