Our client, a leader in the financial services technology industry, is seeking a Java Engineer to join their team. As a Java Engineer, you will be part of the Enterprise Identity organization supporting innovative digital solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for high-quality code, a commitment to continuous learning, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.
This is a mid level role which includes the requirement of using AI tools. Client is looking for demonstrated AI tool usage in their personal or professional work. Profile of personal projects is highly desired.
Job Title: Java Engineer
Location: Sunrise, Florida - hybrid
Pay Range: $51/hr W2
Contract: 12+ months
What's the Job?
- Participate in Agile Scrum meetings, collaborating effectively with team members.
- Develop new features and functionalities using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Test and enhance existing codebases to improve performance and reliability.
- Design and implement microservices architecture to support scalable solutions.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, understanding their use cases and benefits.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Backend Java Engineer.
- Expertise in Java 11 or above and building microservices with Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of ORMs like Spring Data, Hibernate, or similar.
- Experience working with AI tools - be able to co-create together with AI
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and their application.
- Familiarity with security concepts such as authentication, authorization, JWT, OAuth, etc.
