We are seeking a Sterile Equipment Technician to join our team!
The VA is seeking qualified Sterile Processing Technicians (Medical Supply Technicians Sterile Processing) to provide support for the Sterile Processing Service (SPS). Responsibilities include:
All services must be performed in accordance with applicable VA, federal, state, and professional standards. As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will be evaluating issues on equipment, troubleshooting problems, implementing repairs based on the issues, and repairing minor and major malfunctions to the best of your ability. You will also work closely with each customer we service to build and maintain strong working relationships, provide follow-up services to ensure everything is functioning properly, and document all issues and repairs as necessary. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of electronics and equipment, and experience working with medical equipment.
Compensation: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
