About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with Medical Edge Recruitment to find a qualified Rad Tech in Alamosa, Colorado, 81101!
Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a CT/RAD Technologist for a Full-Time role at San Luis Valley Health in Alamosa, CO.
SALARY RANGE: $34.00 – $47.74 Hourly
SIGN-ON & RELOCATION BONUS: $25,000
Note: Candidates must be willing to relocate to a rural area.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
-
Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved training program
-
ARRT Registered
-
MRI preferred, but not required
-
Minimum 6 months experience in the field of Computerized Tomography, with CT certification
-
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
-
Perform imaging procedures following prescribed techniques: adjust equipment, determine proper voltage/current/time, arrange immobilization/support devices, adjust lead shielding, and select proper film
-
Clean x-ray rooms and equipment daily
-
Perform call assignments as needed
-
Conduct quality control tasks and maintain reports specific to procedures performed
-
Perform general office duties such as scheduling, answering phones, and filing
-
Perform diagnostic testing and general maintenance on imaging equipment
-
Prepare room, equipment, contrast material, and other necessary materials for procedures
-
Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
