Job Description
Description
Reeves Lavallee, P.C. is a law firm in downtown Worcester, and we need someone to own the mail and the files. This is not legal work, and you do not need any legal experience. If you have run a mail room, worked a shipping and receiving desk, or kept a records room organized, you can do this job.
$18–$20 an hour · Full time, Monday–Friday · On site at 250 Commercial Street, Worcester
Medical, dental and vision are fully paid by the firm after 60 days — not a percentage, the whole premium.
What you would actually do all day
- Open, sort and log the incoming mail, and get it to the right person
- Prepare, meter and send the outgoing mail
- Scan what comes in and goes out, then name and file it so it can be found again
- Work through the paper files — the standing goal is a drawer, or two boxes, scanned a week
- Keep supplies stocked and the copy and print area working
- Cover the front desk and the phones when we need you to
- Copying, printing and data entry for the attorneys and staff
This job suits someone who likes a clear list and likes finishing it. We will teach you our software.
