A company is looking for a Medical Coder specializing in Behavioral Health. Key Responsibilities Abstract clinical information from medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10 codes Verify codes for professional fee charges and communicate findings on documentation issues Mentor and train other coders while tracking and reporting coding productivity data Required Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or related field Certification as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H preferred 1-3 years of experience in inpatient / outpatient coding, with a focus on behavioral health Above average computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products Knowledge of MedSeries4 and 3M Encoder preferred
