Position Summary
Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Program Manager to oversee complex programs, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieve desired outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of client needs, and a strategic approach to delivering results.
This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of programs.
- Manage program scope, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
- Coordinate with teams and resources to ensure that all program milestones are met on time.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Provide regular status updates to clients, senior management, and other key stakeholders.
- Resolve program-related issues and concerns, escalating as necessary.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead program teams, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the team and across departments.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in government contracting or defense industry programs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
