Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director of FP&A and will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and operations functions within the organization. This role requires strong analytic and interpersonal skills, prioritizing collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making and supporting strategic financial initiatives.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have a desire to build and improve processes while possessing a background in business analytics and data visualization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
- Drive the annual budgeting process, working closely with key to establish financial targets and key performance indicators
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for NOI improvement
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making across various functional areas
- Support month-end close by partnering with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and accruals
- Prepare and distribute management reporting packages, including variance analysis and executive-ready commentary
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A processes
- Lead ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects assigned, leveraging data analysis and visualization tools to deliver actionable insights
The Details:
- Location: Headquarters in Denver, CO, in office 3-4 days per week
- Travel: Less than 5% domestically
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must pass comprehensive background screening
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of professional work experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or similar
- Background in FP&A with data visualization experience preferred
- Prior experience in a private equity portfolio company preferred
- Strong understanding of financial models with ability to own and maintain operating asset models
- Dynamic with an ability to take ownership of complex and high-impact responsibilities
- Collaborative with a positive attitude
- Driven and self-motivated
- Detail oriented with outstanding written, technical and communication skills
- Results oriented with a track record of driving results across multiple channels and initiatives
- Advanced Excel skills
Compensation Range: $76,320.00 - $83,740.00
