Role Description

As a member of our Banquet team, you are always on stage. Brasada is home to the best wedding venue in Central Oregon, and we ensure that our level of service for those life defining events matches those expectations. The success of those events, and the numerous others that our events team hosts, is dependent on the Banquet team to have the attention to detail required for flawless execution.

The ideal candidate for this role must be in good physical condition as the position will require some heavy lifting and extended periods of time on your feet. You must have a great energetic personality and a passion for hospitality.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for set-up and tear-down of the meeting and event rooms.
  • Properly clean and set meeting rooms and banquet functions per specifications as given by Banquet leadership.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Assists with transporting food/beverage to and from event locations.
  • Able to operate and maintain dish machine and assist in the cleaning of dishware.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of banquet storage rooms along with inventorying all items.
  • Lifting up to and including 50-75 pounds including moving furniture (i.e. tables, chairs, etc.)
  • Set up and breakdown of buffet tables including wooden risers.
  • Must be able to work a flexible shift of mornings or evenings along with weekends and holidays.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Banquet leadership team and the Executive Chef.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Skills/Traits

  • Must be adaptable to changes that happen during the event and react accordingly
  • Strong team player desired
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Will be on feet for long periods of time, possibly extended distances
  • Frequently lifts/carries up to 40 lbs
  • Occasionally lifts/carries up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire (cost eligible for reimbursement)
