Senior Financial Reporting Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting management in strategic decision-making. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, a deep understanding of financial reporting standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting :

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.

Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, and assess their impact on financial reporting.

Perform detailed financial analyses and provide insights into the organization's financial performance.

Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial reporting processes.

Work closely with other finance team members, including accounting, FP&A, and tax teams, to ensure alignment of financial data.

Maintain and enhance reporting systems and tools, ensuring they meet business and compliance needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).

5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related role.

Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
