A Project Controls Analyst is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the American Canyon, CA area. This role focuses on managing the financial health and timelines of utility infrastructure projects through Primavera P6 scheduling, budget forecasting, and rigorous variance analysis to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

responsibilities :

• Use cost and schedule plans to evaluate the feasibility of undergrounding and system hardening initiatives.
• Create and update monthly forecast budgets to maintain financial accuracy and oversight.
• Perform detailed performance analyses to identify cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Align project reporting with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including GRC and FERC.
• Communicate project cost and risk status to team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Integrate cost and schedule data by interfacing with design and planning teams using specialized software.
• Facilitate the preparation and approval of authorizations, job estimates, and financial re-authorizations.
• Manage financial documentation, including journal entries, goods receipts, and contingency release logs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project expenditures by coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and site walkdowns to ensure alignment with program goals.
