Marketing Data Analyst

In this role you will analyze performance data and market trends to strengthen Citi's in-house creative output. You will translate complex data into actionable insights for designers and copywriters, monitor results, and present findings to senior leaders. You'll work with cross-functional partners to set baselines, track campaigns, and guide creative strategy with data-driven storytelling. This is an opportunity to shape marketing creative at scale within a leading financial services brand.

Responsibilities

Monitor and forecast trends to integrate into marketing creatives
Collaborate with internal clients to collect performance results and report findings
Collect and summarize competitor work samples and share key takeaways
Develop and implement a data gathering and analysis system with established baselines
Derive customer insights from performance results to inform design and copy
Lead lunch-and-learns on marketing best practices with the in-house team and partners
Present concise learnings to senior leadership
Think strategically to align business needs with creative deliverables
Synthesize data from multiple sources into a central, compelling story
Understand strategy behind key messages with internal clients
Manage time to track multiple campaigns and deliver high-quality work

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication/Advertising, or related field
8-10 years of related work experience (digital agency environment preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expertise in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience using Tableau; SQL, Python, and/or R a plus
Strong ability to report data and metrics with dashboards and analytics
Adept at extracting customer insights from creative performance data
Independent leader with strong organizational skills and a fast-paced, deadline-driven mindset
Experience presenting to senior leaders
Passion for analytical thinking and making complex data clear
