Quality Control Manager

Olgoonik Corporation seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC for construction projects in Colorado Springs. Responsibilities include developing and implementing project-specific QC plans, conducting inspections and tests, ensuring compliance with contract specs, IBC, and safety standards, and maintaining thorough documentation for government and commercial clients. The role partners closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve deficiencies, manage punch lists, support audits, and drive continuous improvement while modeling Olgoonik's values of safety, integrity, and community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project-specific quality control plans and procedures
  • Conduct regular site inspections, tests, and audits to verify work quality and compliance
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure adherence to contract requirements
  • Document inspections, tests, deficiencies, and corrective actions in QC reports
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues
  • Manage punch lists, non-conformance reports, and follow-up verification
  • Support client, third-party, and regulatory inspections or audits
  • Train field staff and subcontractors on QC expectations and procedures
