As a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS), you'll oversee project staff, perform QA/QC on geospatial projects, and contribute to business development by securing new opportunities for the firm.

Key Responsibilities

As Survey Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage contracts, budgets, invoicing, and project timelines.
  • Conduct research and prepare deeds, maps, plats, easements, and utility/construction plans.
  • Develop boundary resolutions, legal descriptions, and site calculations.
  • Perform control network analysis and conflict resolution.
  • Lead QA/QC efforts for staff production and project deliverables.

Qualifications

You're an excellent fit if you have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in surveying or equivalent field.
  • Licensure: Active Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the State of Texas Required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in surveying project management, including residential/commercial land development, transportation, and public works.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and geospatial fieldwork with GPS, Terrestrial LiDAR, UAS, and conventional equipment.
  • Expertise in boundary determinations, legal descriptions, geodetic and plane survey calculations, and QA/QC of geospatial deliverables.
  • Strong client management, proposal preparation, staff utilization, and progress reporting capabilities.

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
