  • Evaluate, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network, server, and datacenter infrastructure across production and non-production environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and resilience.
  • Provision, configure, and support servers, networking hardware, and system software.
  • Monitor network performance, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, system functionality, and logging platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce IT security standards and policies.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting across OS, network, application, and integration layers (Layer 1–7).
  • Research, develop, and implement automation tools, monitoring solutions, and standard operating procedures to reduce risk and outages.
  • Own IT hardware and software maintenance, lifecycle management, and procurement activities.
  • Application Lifecycle Management & Production Support
  • Participate in all phases of the ALM framework (intake, build, test, release, operate, optimize, and retire) from a systems and production support perspective.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 production support for enterprise and third-party applications.
  • Support application onboarding, architecture reviews, and production readiness assessments, ensuring monitoring, supportability, and recovery standards are met.
  • Support releases by validating runbooks, monitoring, alerting, rollback procedures, and escalation paths.
  • Ensure smooth transition of applications from project delivery into steady-state operations.
  • Assist with application decommissioning and retirement, ensuring proper cleanup of infrastructure and dependencies.
  • Incident, Change & Operational Excellence
  • Monitor application and system availability, performance, and integrations using established tools.
  • Lead or participate in incident response, triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews.
  • Act as an escalation point for high-severity incidents, coordinating resolution across internal teams and vendors.
  • Communicate incident status, risks, and resolutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support ITIL-aligned change, release, and environment management processes.
  • Identify recurring issues and drive long-term remediation through problem management and continuous improvement.
  • Documentation & Collaboration
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between infrastructure, application teams, security, vendors, and management.
  • Ensure expectations are clearly communicated and met in a timely and effective manner.

  • 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Support, or Enterprise Production Operations.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise systems and applications in production environments.
  • Experience with system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of IT and security controls, governance concepts, and audit practices.
  • Ability to operate effectively as an audit facilitator and liaison, rather than a hands on security operator.
  • Working knowledge of security architectures, cloud environments, and common security technologies sufficient to support audit discussions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics to executive audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple audit activities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail while maintaining the ability to synthesize information into clear audit narratives.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across technical and business teams without direct authority.
  • Sound judgment in identifying risk, prioritizing issues, and supporting remediation discussions.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
