Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer 4 to join their esteemed team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects that shape the future of aviation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of complex systems, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety and performance.

Job Responsibilities:

Define, decompose, and allocate requirements from aircraft-level to system and item level.
Develop and maintain functional and logical airplane and system architecture.
Conduct functional hazard assessments and system safety analyses in line with safety objectives.
Guide design and implementation, ensuring traceability to all-level requirements.
Plan and execute verification and validation activities across the V-model.
Support safety analyses and ensure compliance with aerospace/defense regulations.

Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
9+ years of experience in systems engineering lifecycle within aerospace or similar domains.
Proficiency in V-Diagram processes and safety assessments.
Familiarity with certification frameworks like ARP4754A and DO-178C.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience, Master's with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years in engineering or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS.
Knowledge of system modeling (SysML/UML, Cameo) at the airplane and systems level.
Experience in leading test planning and execution.
