Job Title : Trust & Estate Attorney
Location : Indianapolis, IN
Experience Level : 3-7yrs
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Trust & Estate Attorney to join the Indianapolis office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in estate planning and related areas, and will be eager to provide compassionate, client-focused counsel while managing a diverse caseload. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with individuals and families to develop tailored strategies that protect assets, minimize tax exposure, and achieve long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents that align with clients’ objectives.
Counsel clients on probate and trust administration matters.
Assist with wealth transfer, tax planning, and business succession planning.
Build and maintain client relationships, delivering clear and empathetic guidance through complex decisions.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Indiana Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
Minimum of 3 years of estate planning experience.
Strong drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail and sensitivity to client needs.
Commitment to excellent client service and professional integrity.
