Neurology - Vascular Physician at Pacific Companies summary :
A Vascular Physician specializing in neurology provides neuro-hospitalist services including stroke care, patient consults, and transfers in a high-volume trauma and stroke center. The physician works in a collaborative environment with a team of other neurologists and nurse practitioners, handling approximately 18 patient encounters daily. This ongoing position requires board certification, a vascular fellowship, and a valid medical license in Missouri.
- Location : Kansas City, MO
- Duration : ASAP on-going, possibility of extension
- Schedule : 7 on, 7 off
- Shift : 8a-430p with possible overnight call
- Call : TBD
- Scope : Neuro-hospitalist, code stroke, rounding, consults, and transfers
- Group : 6 neurologists and 6 nurse practitioners
- Volume : Group see 45 patients per day, 10 new consults (approximately 18 patient encounters per physician per day
- EMR : Meditech
- Hospital : Level I trauma center, Level I Stroke Canter and Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Required : Board certified or board eligible with Vascular fellowship, Active Missouri or Compact license, DEA and BNDD
