In this role, the Trainer is responsible for creating, communicating, and evaluating highly technical concepts for audiences with varying levels of expertise. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, the ability to simplify complex information, and proven experience delivering classroom-based training on highly technical products and services.
What You Will Do
- Assist in developing & maintaining technical training content, exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials in accordance with the ADDIE process.
- Deliver instructor-led classroom training to stakeholders.
- Work with external and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, effective training content.
- Conduct training sessions and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
- Assist with reviewing course documentation on a continual basis to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Travel as needed (up to 25%).

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience with technical training development and instruction.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering instructor-led training using technical materials.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal communication, and writing skills, with effective classroom management for adult learners.
- Self-sufficient, proactive contributor with a track record of independently owning and completing projects.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and industry-standard tools for course development, including graphic and web design principles and current web technologies.
- Prior military experience operating or maintaining defense systems, including hands-on technical repair work with common tools and techniques.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
