Position: Web Writer

Summary
Writes copy for the website, inputting text into a content management system. Assists in uploading text, images and graphics that are submitted by other team members via Airtable form, ensuring it is formatted and tagged for accessibility, using a WordPress page builder. Requires working knowledge of Wordpress or similar platform such as Drupal, web writing best practices, SEO, alt-text and image tagging.
Responsibilities
Writing, editing, and uploading content to the web, including, text, graphics and images; utilizing forms to move content from one platform to another; tagging content for accessibility using SEO best practices; publishing final content to live site.
Requirements:
· Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal (1 year of experience)
· Web Writing
· Copy-editing
· Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
· Knowledge of accessibility best practices
· Use of Wordpress page builders for editing
