A company is looking for a Remote Async Writing Tutor (Seasonal).

Key Responsibilities

Provide thorough, insightful, actionable written feedback on student essays and writing assignments

Meet synchronously with students via a virtual classroom to enhance their writing skills

Familiarize with a variety of writing topics, including health sciences and argumentative essays

Required Qualifications

1+ year of college / university Writing Center tutoring experience

3.5 GPA or higher with a transcript from a writing intensive program

Access to reliable Internet and proficiency in MS Word / Google Docs

Commitment to 15-25 hours per week during peak periods (February 1 - May 15)

Familiarity with the Socratic method of tutoring
