JOB DESCRIPTION
Description :
This is more of a coordination job than actual drafting, but will do some drafting.
The Survey Technician will be engaged in a variety of land surveying projects including assisting with basic research of record with regards to property ownership and utilities.
They will be responsible for reducing and checking of field notes and preparation of basic plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation software.
They will be responsible for organizing and filing office records and plans and when required may fill in as a field crew member.

- Assist in collecting data from public records and field measurements.
- Download field data and develop basic plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Maintain office files and supplies.
- Assist in project deliverables as appropriate
- Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations
- Continually advance knowledge with upgrades in technology
- Complete internal and external training as required
