Sample Librarian

NEOGEN is seeking a Sample Librarian to join our team in our Genomics Division! The Librarian team is responsible for the maintenance of all sample inventory.
To be a successful inventory clerk you must be able to strive in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
Shift Schedule :
Monday - Friday 10 : 30am-7 : 00pm
Essential Duties :
- Pull samples, orders, tasks and plates for the labs and customers
- Fulfill internal and external order requests
- Catalog, organize, and track sample inventory, both short and long term
- Monitors and maintains day-to-day inventory levels
- Manage sample send backs and disposals
Qualifications :
- Independent Worker
- Comfortable working at a fast pace
- Organized
- Excellent Attention to Detail
Work Environment :
- Reports to Lab Supervisor
- Time will be split between a laboratory setting and storage locations (freezer, cooler, warehouse)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Education and / or Experience :
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
