  • Minimum 4 YOE leading projects / programs or supporting business with process improvements
  • Power BI
  • Proficient within Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to work cross functionally as well as globally
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to work in both waterfall and agile environment
  • Background in highly regulated markets : med device, pharmaceutical are preferred (can be aerospace, defense)
  • Bachelors degree

  • Experience with surgical robotics technology or other medical devices
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, including scope, budget, timelines, and risk management
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Day-to-Day :

A large medical device company is looking to bring on a IT Project Manager to join their Commercial PMO group to sit hybrid in North Haven, CT.

This person will develop comprehensive project plans including scope, budget, timelines, and risk management strategies.

They will work cross functionally to ensure alignment of project objectives and priorities. They will be working on new product releases and upgrades to the field.

Projects would include, Product commercial launches, Customer Success initiatives, IT System improvements, Service improvements, Etc.

This role would oversee product launches for new features, new RST (Robotics) products, and SW / HW improvements. For product role outs, they would be working with and presenting to direct stakeholders that oversee each respected position such as Training, Marketing, sales, SC, RA, Service.

They will work with indirect stakeholders (working with these stakeholders but not necessarily overseeing their work) within R&D, Operations, Labeling, etc.

They will lead the planning and execution of commercial product launches, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure key commercial deliverables are met to achieve product launch requirements.

Typically projects will be in a waterfall environment, but some teams do use Agile. The ideal candidate will come from a strong regulatory background in med device or pharmaceutical industry, have great communication skills, and will be a quick learner.
