Job Description : Event setup staff play a crucial role in ensuring that events run smoothly by creating inviting and functional spaces that meet the needs of clients and guests.
They must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work efficiently under pressure to execute successful events.
- Setting up tables, chairs, podiums, stages, decorations, and other equipment according to event specifications and diagrams.
- Assisting with decorating the event space, including hanging banners, arranging centerpieces, and placing props according to event themes or designs.
- Helping with the setup of catering stations, including arranging tables, linens, serving trays, and food displays.
- Transporting and setting up equipment and supplies needed for the event, such as tables, chairs, linens, signage, and promotional materials.
- Disassembling and clearing event spaces once the event is over, including packing up equipment, removing decorations, and returning furniture to its original location.
