SUMMARY :

Solielis seeking to hire a Linux System Administrator who will administera Linuxbased DevSecOps Continuous Integration / ContinuousDeployment (CI / CD) environment and a CentOSbased Open ContainerInitiative (OCI) compliant and Cloud Native Computing Foundation(CNCF) certified Kubernetes platform environment.

They will workclosely with the team of architects software developers andengineers to recommend and design solutions that effectivelyreflect our business needs security and service level requirements.

They will work with application and architecture teams to conductproof of concept (POC) designs and implement the design inproduction cloudenvironments .

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain and operatean Open Container Initiative (OCI) compliant and Cloud NativeComputing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetesplatform.
• Ensure all Linux and CentOS systemsare patched available and meet current securityrequirements.
• Build release and manage theconfiguration of all production systems with a focus on automationand infrastructure as code.
• Manage a continuousintegration and deployment methodology for serverbasedtechnologies. Work alongside architecture and engineering teams todesign and implement scalable softwareservices.
• Ensure necessary system security byusing bestinclass cloud securitysolutions.
• Stay current with new technologyoptions and vendor products evaluating which ones would be a goodfit for the company.
• Recommend process andarchitecture improvements.
• Troubleshoot systemissues and solve problems across all platform and applicationdomains
• Oversee preproduction acceptancetesting to ensure the high quality of a companys services andproducts.

REQUIREDSKILLS :

• Bachelorsdegree in a STEM discipline or 8 years of practicalexp.
• AWS Cloud Experience (EC2 VPCs IAM RolesSecurity Groups and associated Troubleshooting)
• Solid understanding of how SSL Works in aAWS / Linux based environment.
• Risk ManagementFramework Experience (SCAP Scans ACAS System Hardening (STIGs)Documentation).
• Scripting (Bash Python)
• Docker
• Windows ServerAdministration
• Extensive prior experience inCentOS and Linux server systemadministration
• Experience with deployingsoftware at the TS / SCI level to NSANet and PRIVAC authoritiesExperience with NSANet approved tools for system configuration andmanagement (e.

g. SIMP Puppet Ansible and CS2Scripts)

• Experience with deploying operatingand maintaining cloudbased Linuxworkloads.
• Experience with infrastructure ascode IAC and using tools such as CloudFormation Terraform Ansibleand Chef.
• Experience with Open ContainerInitiative (OCI) compliant and Cloud Native Computing Foundation(CNCF) certified Kubernetesplatforms
