Server

Border Cafe in Saugus is looking for a qualified Server to join our growing team to meet the demands of our fast past, fully operational, full service restaurant.

Border Cafe is a staple of the restaurant scene and has been recognized for multiple awards and recognition for quality in food and service.

Job Duties include but are not limited to :

• Provide excellent customer services
• Greet customers and present menus
• Make suggestions based on their preferences
• Take and serve food / drinks orders
• Arrange table settings
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules / regulations and all customer service guidelines

Qualifications for the ideal candidate would include the following traits but not limited :

• Experience as a Restaurant Server
• Experience with any ordering information system
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Active listening
• Excellent physical condition
• Customer-centric
• High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus

Pay : $20-$35 / hour

• 8-10 hour shift

Saugus, MA : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience :
