Compliance Analyst - Fair Banking (Hybrid Schedule)

Risk Services partners with UMB management and its obligation to effectively manage compliance and related risks within the UMB family of corporations.

This team provides timely, accurate, and seasoned judgment related to regulatory compliance risk, suggests strategies for mitigating risk, promotes a strong culture of compliance, and fulfills regulatory expectations of administering effective compliance monitoring and other mandated programs.

As the Fair Banking Analyst, you will support UMB Financial Corporation’s (UMBFC) Fair & Responsible Banking Program by executing the program’s tasks and strategies.

You will collaborate with appropriate associates and business lines to analyze data for potential discrimination and regulatory compliance, communicate results to decision makers, and promote the bank’s fair banking program.

How you’ll spend your time :

  • You will use your critical thinking skills to interpret testing results of the Fair Banking program and determine appropriate follow-up to results including reporting to the applicable lines of business and bank management.
  • You will perform comparative file reviews across lines of business as part of the fair lending monitoring program.
  • You will review and analyze the geographic distribution of the bank’s loan products, investments, and services.
  • You will develop and maintain Fair Banking reporting for use by line of business partners while also coordinating the implementation of program enhancements.

We’re excited to talk with you if :

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration and 2+ years’ experience in the field of bank regulatory compliance (preferably related to fair lending laws and regulations) OR
  • Any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.

Compensation Range :

Minimum : $51,480.00 - Maximum : $119,200.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
