Job Description

The Enterprise Assets Specialist Lead is a key cross-functional member of the Lab Channels team responsible for AbbVies enterprise asset management system.

The Asset specialist is responsible for primary Asset DAM librarian tasks as well as leading the way through transformation, adoption, and migration for teams to measure and attribute key benefits to the business from the use of the Assets DAM system.

Governance and controls are to be closely managed by the specialist with clear communications and guidance set for all agencies and creative teams that manage asset development.

This role has responsibility for leading enterprise brands and the setup of Adobe AEM Assets across multiple agencies that support brand marketing groups across all US franchises, brands, and therapeutic areas driving HCP and Consumer marketing content delivery.

The utilization of assets extends to multiple channels including email, websites, banner ads, social and more.

  • Relationship Management : Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with key leaders, across all cross-functional areas within the company and develop a thorough understanding and knowledge of the business and challenges.
  • Collaboration / Partnerships : Work effectively with multiple departments and agencies throughout project development and implementation to keep projects / programs on time and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Communication : Prepares well-organized, clear, and concise communications to keep every abreast of program status and communicates clear expectations to cross-functional partners
  • Program / Project Management : Responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of individual asset management migration projects including, developing project plans, creating status reports, and following up / communicating with all stakeholders to ensure on-time, flawless execution of projects / programs.
  • Executing and Closing Program / Project : Lead program / project teams in developing and executing a program plan ensuring that authorized resources are obtained to ensure all activities are performed.

Gain approvals, QA test, and verify data inputs / outputs. Gather lessons learned and obtain final program approval from sponsors and stakeholders.

Responsible for change management including creating, maintaining, and updating program playbooks, implementation guides, and cross-functional RACI so all team members (internal / external) understand their role and part in program processes.

Conduct onboarding for cross-functional / agency teams on workflows, processes, and RACI.

Seek standardization, automation, and process improvement wherever possible to deliver on the vision for the team of the faster, better, cheaper year over year.

Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of 6+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in a product management or equivalent role managing large, complex projects and asset management systems
  • Proven track record of launching and / or managing successful Asset DAM systems
  • In-depth knowledge of the product development and evaluation process. Exposure to Agile development is a must.
  • Experience developing business use cases and strategic planning
  • Understanding of storage, taxonomy, and tagging of assets
  • Familiarity with automation of asset tagging, storage, and handling
  • Experience scaling asset DAM solutions and scaling use
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with commercial enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) and Enterprise asset management systems such as Veeva, AEM Assets, Adobe Experience Cloud, SDL Tridion, OpenText, Oracle, and Sitecore.
  • Knowledge of site analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and / or Google Analytics
  • Requires strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to be effective in managing through a highly matrixed organization
  • Skills required include business acumen, organizational assessment, creativity, interpersonal skills, and quantitative analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding communicator and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people
  • Results-oriented, self-starter with a passion for user experience, technology, and the internet
  • A strategic mindset that allows you to prioritize projects, launches, and features, and balance immediate requirements with a long-term vision
