Job Description

ASRC FEDERAL Broadleaf Division is seeking a COOP Project Engineer for our contract located at the Pentagon.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Seeking an experienced COOP Project Engineer to join our Command and Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division (TSD) team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading multiple projects and departments, and will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience with COOP projects for the US Army and on Command and Control (C2) systems is desired.

The COOP Project Engineer shall be proficient in war fighting reporting systems that focus on military functions, such as, equipping the force, causalities, planning, logistics, COOP, and requirements, while working at a minimum at the CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Development and Level 2 for services.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

This role will be full-time on-site at the Pentagon

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must be willing to be onsite five days a week at the Pentagon.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in a technically complex information technology environment.
  • Provide project leadership for enterprise technology efforts, including enterprise application projects.
  • Plans and oversees the engineering and support of a specific IT area or system.
  • Coordinate technical aspects of work for the successful completion of a project and / or production.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports based on tasks in Section 5.
  • Prepares and utilizes project plans for significant IT engineering, enhancement and maintenance efforts. Leads a technical team through project engineering phases : analysis, engineering, implementation, deployment, and production.
  • Establishes goals and provides regular feedback to team members.
  • Acts as a liaison for the technical team to management including government senior leaders.
  • Communicates regularly with internal and external customers.
  • Supervises staff and performs related responsibilities, as required.

CERTIFICATION(S) :

IASAE II, IAW DoDD 8140.01 / DoDI 8570.01-M certified prior to onboarding

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's in Computer Science / Information Systems (desired)

  • Top-Secret with SCI eligibility
