The Role
NOCO is seeking a Field Applications Engineer. This role reports to the Vice President of Engineering and is based in our R&D facility in Peoria AZ.
The Field Applications Engineer will provide technical and applications support for NOCO customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with R&D engineering to become an applications expert on NOCO products.
- Provide engineering-level technical support for customers when issues are escalated from technical support.
- Provide applications engineering support for key NOCO customers.
- Work with NOCO sales to evaluate and test applications for potential customers.
- Participate in field testing and product installations for NOCO products.
- Manage and coordinate beta testing for new products.
- This is a customer-facing role, requiring direct interaction with NOCO customers.
- Some travel is required.

Essential knowledge and Experience
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4 years of experience.
- Understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Familiarity with lab test equipment : DMM, oscilloscope, Data Acquisition, etc.
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Desirable knowledge and Experience
The successful candidate has experience or knowledge in some of the following areas.
- Power Electronics
- Technical Support or Field Applications Engineering
- Batteries, battery chargers, jump starters, or similar technology.
