Litigation Paralegal
A reputable California-based law firm with over 80 attorneys is seeking a Paralegal for their Irvine office. Supporting the trial department with all phases of discovery, filings, trials and appeals, this position will gain hands-on experience with litigation from beginning to end.
Job Duties :
- Assist litigation and trial attorneys with research, preparation of documents, and all phases of litigation including trials and appeals.
- Prepare subpoenas (in-state, out-of-state, and out-of-country).
- Utilize e-discovery platforms including CS Disco to conduct discovery searches.
- Prepare basic motions.
- Prepare for trials and appeals (state and federal).
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 4 years of California and Federal litigation experience, preferably in defense litigation.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Proficiency with Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, CS Disco, Everlaw, Lexis, Westlaw, and iManage.
- Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program and a Bachelor’s degree.
This is a hybrid position that will allow 1-2 remote days after the initial onboarding period. The compensation range for this position is $95,000-$115,000.
