Job Overview

Summary / Objective

Through a variety of methods, the Recruiting Coordinator is expected to support and enhance area recruiting activities. The Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with Area Recruiter to identify staffing needs and deficits, and address those needs through mining prospective candidates, coordinating hiring events and career fairs, scheduling phone screens for Area Recruiter and providing additional administrative support to the local recruiting team.

  • Provide administrative support to Area Recruiter.
  • Facilitate reporting requirements for staffing-related activities for Area Recruiter and HR teams as needed.
  • Proactively source candidates for core positions (Sales Consultants, Service Advisors, Technicians) and for hard-to fill positions as determined and communicated by Area Recruiter.
  • Schedule phone screens for Recruiter core positions as listed above.
  • Coordinate on-site hiring events.
  • Provide follow-up to candidates as required.
  • Review resumes and phone screen quality applicants for entry-level, high volume positions while promoting a positive company image and determining the candidates potential to fit within the requirements of the role.
  • Coordinate on site meetings for dealership staff at technical schools and other venues to drive quality applicant traffic for Sales, Management, Technician, and other dealership positions.
  • Identify and engage new sources of applicants through research and networking.
  • Compile and submit various staffing metrics reports.
  • Offer support to all recruiting efforts within designated area.
  • Assist in acquisitions and staffing of new dealerships within designated area.
  • Other duties as assigned by Regional Lead Recruiter and local Area Recruiter.
  • Recruiting Coordinator will report to Regional Lead Recruiter while taking daily activity requirements from local Area Recruiter.

  • Ability to prepare presentations and general correspondence

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

Typically Mon-Fri, but may work evenings or weekends as required.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

HRIS acumen with a track record of understanding / utilizing an ATS system, preferably ADP Recruiting Management. The ability to work effectively autonomously, with little oversight.

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate's degree ( or equivalent
