Embedded Software Engineer

What You'll Be Doing :

• Contribute to the development of low-level firmware for AR / VR systems and Firmware groups
• Design and implement algorithms for signal processing in AR / VR systems, with a focus on low-resource edge devices such as wearables and mobile phones.
• Collaborate on integrating various sensors commonly used in personal-computer devices, including accelerometers, gyroscopes, PPG, pressure sensors, microphones, and temperature sensors
• Actively participate in the debugging process and root cause analysis of test failures, ensuring the robustness and reliability of the signal processing functionalities

What We Are Looking For :

Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience;

or equivalent work experience

• Proficient in C / C++ and Python programming languages required
• Experienced working with sensors in personal-computer devices
• Skilled in developing algorithms for low-resource edge devices, particularly wearables and mobile phones
• Prior experience with wearables, mobile phones, or healthcare devices is highly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges in signal processing and firmware development
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team
• Adaptability on project requirements

Work Arrangement Fully On-Site : Must be able to travel to an Arrow Client office location as requested by Arrow Client leadership.

Location : Complete On-Site at Burlingame, CA.

Annual Hiring Range / Hourly Rate :

$ 103,400.00 - $160,300.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and / or skill level.

The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
