The Data Analyst creates and maintains dashboards and generates reporting for Loss Prevention. One will prepare data visualizations and use data to forecast or guide business activity.

The Data Analyst will work to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of supporting the operation through increased automation.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Data team to source data from various data sets
• Performs reporting and direct analysis on data to provide recommendations for operational improvement or cost reduction
• Identifies new reporting or tool opportunities
• Designs reports and data bases
• Training for end users on reporting and tools
• Documents process flow of reporting
• Liaison between business partners and Data team
• Demonstrates a keen understanding of data; identifies and translates the connections and core issues to operational and financial controls.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned
• Supports ad-hoc reporting as needed
• Work closely with the business and Data team to improve the data collection and quality
• Ability to generate facts from relational database, segment lists, execute test design and gather requirements from business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Required (Preferred in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.)
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• SCAN, WLM, Kronos knowledge
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Cognos
• Data modeling / mining
• Advanced Analytical skills
• Off-price model understanding
• Good understanding of data warehousing and data lake architecture
• Experience working with large datasets to extract, manipulate and analyze customer performance using business intelligence tools such as SQL.

This position has a starting salary range of $66,500 to $83,100 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
