Essential Duties for MEP Design / Engineer :
- Heat loss / gain calculations
- Equipment selections
- Duct sizing and routing
- Pipe sizing and routing
- Mechanical Code compliance
- Energy Code compliance
- Assist with project management
- Assist with training of junior level designers
- Meet with clients and coordinate with our Division
Requirements for MEP Design / Engineer :
- PE in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing)
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledgeable of code requirements
- Good verbal skills to work well with a diverse workforce
- Knowledge of plumbing system design preferred
