Account Manager

Position Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Account Manager to join our team. This role will focus on actively identifying and securing new accounts within the beauty industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of beauty packaging trends, exceptional sales skills, and a proven track record of building and nurturing client relationships.

Account Manager Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation : Identify and research potential new clients in the beauty industry through market analysis, networking, and other lead generation techniques.
  • New Business Development : Develop and implement strategic plans to approach and engage prospective clients. Present our company's capabilities and value proposition to key decision-makers.
  • Account Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and offering solutions to meet their packaging needs.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with internal teams including product development, purchasing, operations and customer service to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivery of exceptional service to clients.
  • Market Insights and Feedback : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands. Provide feedback to the management team to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Achievement of Sales Targets : Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company. Monitor sales performance, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed to drive results.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Account Manager Key Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5+ years proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the beauty industry or packaging sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skillsets :

  • Strong understanding of beauty packaging trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
