2nd Shift Fabricator
MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Fabricator in Prior Lake, MN.
The pay range for this position is $20-$23 / hr.
How does getting a 3-day weekend every week sound? Second shift hours are Monday - Thursday, 2 : 30pm - 1 : 00am with overtime as necessary;
sometimes required + $2.00 / hr as a shift differential
Daily duties :
Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques and methods such as shearing, rolling,
sawing, plasma cutting, punching, and forming the metals.
- Prepare sheet metal for welding per specs.
- To meet and / or exceed standards for safety, productivity, housekeeping, and attendance.
- Interpretation of blueprints and written part requirements.
- Process inspection, certification, and documentation as needed.
- Read parts list and determine if all parts are present.
- Interpret measurements and verify specifications.
- Cut, shape metals to be prepped for the welders.
- Other duties as assigned.
How to qualify?
- High School Diploma.
- Certification in welding from a recognized technical institute or trade school is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinders, saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with a team lift.

- Prior work experience as a Metal Fabricator
