Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Immediate need for a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer. This is a 06+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Austin TX (Hybrid).

Pay Range : $60 - $70 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities :
- Build & support forecasting applications.
- Lead model deployment initiatives and integration into production.
- Writing data pipelines and algorithms.
- Cloud based deployment.
- Attend regular meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience :
- 7+ years of experience in ML.
- 4+ years’ experience in model building, regression, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Experience with cloud-based deployment, particularly Flash API or Flask in Python.
- Proficient in Data Bricks.
- Teradata & Hadoop are a huge plus.
- Experience with additional database platforms such as Postgres.
- Familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with both data scientists and ML engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Certifications in machine learning or cloud computing are a plus.
