Formulation and process developer, analytical chemist
Job Description :
- Seeking an individual who has strong wet lab skills to contribute in a formulation and process development lab.
- Independently generate reproducible data in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills in the pharmaceutical formulation and process development space.
- Major Responsibilities : Bench skills (mixing formulations, pipetting, physical characterization of samples), Electronic lab notebook usage and experiment documentation including strong organizational skills, Independent problem solving, experiment design, and technical trouble shooting skills
- Ability to pick up new bench techniques quickly - working with emulsion systems and organic solvents, write protocols and reports and present results to a cross-functional team.
- Must demonstrate strong problem solving and communication skills and be a team player.
- Must possess a BA / BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Shall be able to multitask and plan work to meet project deadlines.
- Perform routine tasks competently and independently, and generate reliable and consistent results.
- Analyze and critique results, noting significant deviations.
- Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.
- Learn and understand new experimental techniques.
- Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of research or development sciences.
- Place data in proper scientific context by consulting and citing relevant literature.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in his / her field.
- Impact projects predominantly through lab activities.
- Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct and safety.
